Befriending in NE Somerset

North East Somerset covers all of the B&NES Council area, apart from Bath City itself, so we cover a wide rural area stretching from Peasedown St John in the East, to the Chew Valley in the West of the area.

We currently support many families in the area, with many more waiting for a befriender. Could you make the difference to any of the following children?

D (aged 6) little girl from High Littleton who would love a friend to play dolls with and take her to the park. Likes all things pink and pretty!

T (aged 11) with Aspergers is a young lad from the Keynsham area who loves going for walks, animals and visiting Bath City Farm and the Zoo. Could you help give his family a short break having fun?

H (aged 7) with Classic Autism in the Keynsham area would like a Sunday morning volunteer to visit softplay and the local park. Male preferred but not essential.

O (aged 11) from Radstock with Autism enjoys music and visits to the local park, cinema and a buddy to have fun with. Male preferred

G (aged 14) from Midsomer Norton with Autism, would like to go for hot chocolate, cinema trips and day trips with a female volunteer.

K (aged 14) from Keynsham has Autism and loves all things tomboy! She enjoys outdoor pursuits, football, swimming and cycling. Bring out the tomboy in you if you are sporty and enjoy football.
